In 2020 Jonathan Majors was set to become the new face of the MCU, set up to take over from Josh Brolin’s Thanos as the big bad of the world’s biggest film franchise. Now, in 2026, the actor is starring in an ‘offensive’ Daily Wire movie produce by Ben Shapiro.
Majors was on the brink of becoming a celebrity known worldwide before the actor was convicted in 2023 of assaulting and harassing his girlfriend, leading Marvel and several other projects to drop the actor. This was estimated to have lost him $20 million in earnings just from his Marvel role as Kang the Conqueror.
He has since acted in just one project, Magazine Dreams, however this was filmed prior to his arrest. The actor’s latest role is his first since his conviction, and features him playing a special forces veteran who has to save a school from an attack by ‘Islamist Terrorists’.
Warning: This trailer features offensive content which some readers may find distressing
The Daily Wire film, Run Hide Fight: Infidels, has a plot synopsis so insane you’d think it was a South Park episode, reading: “After Islamic terrorists hijack a college’s pro-Palestine encampment with the goal of enforcing Sharia law on students and executing dissidents whom they deem infidels, a group of students, a security guard, and a Delta Force veteran team up to fight back.”

Reactions to the trailer have swung back and forth between simply noting how far Majors’ career has fallen to pointing out how offensive the plot is.
One viewer tweeted: “This is disgusting, baseless, heartless Islamophobia.” Another pointed to real world events the movie appears to be drawing from, saying: “This trailer is disgusting. But I can’t help but notice the obvious visual parallels to the UT Austin Tower Shooting… which was perpetrated by a Christian white man. As were the majority of campus shootings this slopaganda is clearly drawing inspiration from.”
A third viewer quoted the trailer, saying: “This is the greatest fall off in the history of anything ever. If you ask me how I’m doing and I say “Jonathon Majors” just know my life is over.”
Beyond its offensive plot however, the Run Hide Fight standalone sequel faced some major production challenges.
Majors fell six feet out a window whilst filming and the Daily Wire accused the crew of being ‘communists’ for going on strike

In April of this year Deadline acquired footage of Majors and JC Kilcoyne, his co-star, falling out a window during filming.
Deadline said the accident ‘after the window was replaced with an unsecured sheet of tempered glass to be purposefully shattered in a later stunt that did not involve any actors’ and that the actors fell six feet, with Kilcoyne requiring stitches.
The incident was the final straw which reportedly caused crew members to walk off set and go on strike following a series of ‘labour issues’.
It was alleged there were multiple incidents where props fell onto crew, there were no meetings with department heads or the director Kyle Rankin ahead of complex stunts or the use of prop firearms.
A location change was required due to black mold infestation, and concerns were raised about the presence of special effects supervisor Chris Bailey who had previously pled guilty to ‘illegal possession of explosives on a movie set’.
Producers for the film did not deny the allegations but said that they ‘don’t negotiate with communists’.
