It’s no secret that when you sit down in a packed cinema to watch a Leonardo DiCaprio movie, you’re gonna have a good time. Whether you’re crying from laughter, shivering in fear and putting on a brave face, or your heart’s racing so fast your smart watch thinks you’re working out, it’s gonna be a good time.

And you can expect all that, and then some, in Leo’s new movie One Battle After Another, only in cinemas from September 25.

Directed and written by beloved mastermind Paul Thomas Anderson, One Battle After Another sees Leo play Bob, a rough-around-the-edges ex-vigilante who revives his revolutionary ways when an old enemy resurfaces. Teyana Taylor plays his partner (in love and in revolution), and together they’re raising their teenage daughter (played by Chase Infiniti) and it looks all three of them are as fiery as one another.

But to give you an idea of just how stacked this cast is, Leo is one of four Academy Award winners that build out this ensemble. Benicio del Toro, Sean Penn and Regina King all star alongside DiCaprio, with Wood Harris and Alana Haim along for the ride. It’s a truly A-list cast that only a movie of this calibre is worthy of, a must-watch cinematic moment.

And, if you don’t believe us, all you need to do is watch the trailer. Between Bob’s wise cracks and Sean Penn’s icy glares, you get everything you could want out of a blockbuster. We’re talking gunshots, we’re talking explosions, we’re talking car chases, we’re talking an iconic song backing the trailer that’s gonna get you so hype you’ll be rushing out the door to get a good seat now.

One Battle After Another is going to be a real movie moment. Edge-of-your seat suspense, non-stop action, with a visionary director and all-star cast to help bring it all to life. As a wise man once said, this is a movie that feels like a movie. You’re gonna want to see this one early so you can tell everyone it was your favourite before the rest of the world falls in love with it, and you can do that, only in cinemas, from September 25. Tickets on sale now.

For right now, though, watch the trailer below.
