Terrifying trailer for horror which drops next week has more jump scares than entire movies

This film is predicted to be a terrifying watch.

If you’re a fan of swimming in lavish pools or dream about having your own outdoor tub, don’t watch this new film when it drops.

There are so many movies dedicated to scary things, some realistic and others ridiculous (I’m looking at you, Final Destination) - but this one takes the cake.

Heralded as the scariest film to come out of the New Year, a story about a family being terrorised by an evil entity whilst out swimming in the dark leaves little to the imagination as the trailer is filled with terrifying jump scares.

Check out the trailer:

If you’re like me and refused to go into deep water since the release of films like Jaws and Open Water, then this isn’t for you.

PSA: Just stay away from creepy films about water if you feel uneasy even in the bathtub.

However, if you like to hide behind your pillow as horrors unfold right before your eyes, then 2024’s new release Night Swim is the perfect flick.

The film has an exciting cast with Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell’s child, Wyatt Russell, and The Banshees of Inisherin star Kerry Condon, taking leading roles as the parents of a tight-knit family settling into a new home.

Based on a 2014 short film by the same name, Night Swim feeds on the vulnerability we feel when we’re submerged in water, even in an innocent looking swimming pool.

Night Swim is dubbed a 'strong horror'.

And of course, when horror icons James Wan and Jason Blum team up as producers, then you know it’s going to scare the crap out of you.

But how scary is too scary? We’re just getting into the next year, let’s not scare ourselves silly.

If you’re a fan of the supernatural, then you might be wondering when and where can you watch this flick.

According to reports, the release date for this horror is January 5, 2024, and you can even enjoy an exclusive theatrical release that you can stream on Peacock.

ODEON will also be holding viewings as it reaches cinemas so you can enjoy your heart-stopping fear in a room full of people.

Being terrorised by a water monster doesn't sound like an ideal night.

Dubbed a ‘strong horror’ by the cinema company, their synopsis is ominous: “Secretly hoping, against the odds, to return to pro ball, Ray persuades Eve that the new home’s shimmering backyard swimming pool will be fun for the kids and provide physical therapy for him.

“But a dark secret in the home’s past will unleash a malevolent force that will drag the family under, into the depths of inescapable terror.”

Considering this film comes from the producers of that crazy-doll flick M3GAN, there’s certainly going to be elements of gore and creepy cinematography.

If you want to watch a family be terrorised by an aquatic monster, this is certainly the film for you.
