The feathered star of Untitled Goose Game has decided its had enough of pestering people and has turned its attention to Resident Evil 2's Raccoon City.

It's all down to Scottish game modder ZombieAli, who said on Twitter:

The whole thing is a work-in-progress and ZombieAli didn't say when it will be live, but the short clip below shows you what to expect.

People seem quite impressed by the unlikely crossover, posting about it on social media:

If you're not familiar with Untitled Goose Game, it's a pretty simple premise - you're a goose that likes to run around annoying humans by stealing their junk and making them trip over while trying to chase you down.

While it might not immediately grab your eye, critics and users think it's amazing.

The game has been described by some as like Hitman and Metal Gear Solid where you have to be cautious about your movements, remember your opponent's tracks and strike when the time is just right.

Again, while you might scoff at such a game, it rocketed up the Nintendo charts a few weeks to become number one in the Australian market.

But this isn't the first time Resident Evil 2 has had a mod - in fact it's had loads. Another recent, and also ingenious crossover to the survival horror adventure swaps out the relentless stalker Mr X and replaces him with IT's Pennywise The Dancing Clown.

If there was anything more terrifying than the possibility of opening a door in the Raccoon City Police Department to see the hulking Mr X marching down the hall towards you, it's opening a door to see a bloody child-murdering demon clown making a beeline straight to you.

Before Pennywise entered the fray, there were plenty of inspired mods that were absolutely fantastic, including one that pitted Shaggy from Scooby Doo against ten Mr Xs, and another one that put Mr X himself in a skimpy thong. That one was terrifying for entirely different reasons.
