One of the zone's highlight is set to be a Mario Kart themed rollercoaster which will send thrill seekers around Bowser's Castle and uses augmented reality and projection mapping technology.

You'll also get to wear a pretty cool helmet shaped like Mario's hat - what more could you ask for?

The Universal Studios Japan site tells visitors: "Race your way to victory! Iconic Mario Kart courses have been brought to life with cutting-edge technology.

"Challenge enemies with shells! Aim for the finish line with Mario and Peach! The world's first interactive Mario Kart theme park ride will leave you with a rush of adrenaline!"

Elsewhere, there's Yoshi Adventure, which involves going on a 'treasure hunt' to find some eggs.

And in the Power Up Band Key Challenges you'll face off against Bowser Jr to retrieve the Golden Mushroom.

According to Bloomberg, which got a sneak peek at the upcoming attraction, there will also be a Donkey Kong themed area.

As you can imagine, Nintendo fans are already blown away by the first-look at the park, with one person taking to Twitter to say: "Just transport me to the Super Nintendo World Universal Studios Japan theme park PLEASE."

Sharing a promo image, another person wrote: "My brain needs to see actual people in Super NintendoWorld because it doesn't accept this as a real photo."
