After seven years, the Angry Monopoly kid has finally opened up on that viral Christmas video, saying he 'hasn't played it since'.

Watch below:

Nothing can cause a row in a family home quicker than a game of Monopoly, as I'm sure many of you will again witness over Christmas.

But without question, the unofficial award for the 'biggest Monopoly meltdown' goes to a young lad named Ethan - who went viral for his unreal response to being put in 'Jail'.

Although Ethan was only 'seven or eight' at the time, he acknowledges that things got out of hand.

As you will remember, the viral clip sees the young lad completely lose his cool after his family tell him that he has to stay in jail.

"No I'm getting angry with all of you, don't film me," he shouts while famously pulling out the middle finger.

Quite simply put by Ethan, 'it all kicked off'.

"We we're just playing as a family and I had my mate round and [played] two days of it," Ethan told LADbible.

"Yeah it was like back to back days he was round and we were playing Monopoly, all of a sudden, my mum said 'go back in jail'.

"But I tried cheating by putting a little bit of money instead of the right amount. I had so much money but I was actually like near to winning.

"I had to go round that one more time and I think I was winning. And then it just all kicked off. And then, yeah, it kicked off."

Because Ethan was so young when it happened, he had no idea that he had become famous.

"The school turned around and tried to make my mum delete the video, but she had no power because it was my brother. And I think they were threatening to kick me out or something like that," he said.

Although Ethan was only 'seven or eight' at the time, he now acknowledges that things got out of hand.

"So, my mate printed a photo and it said 'get back in jail or something'. And he started running around my second grade school when I was just seven with them all.

"And then the second day I came in and he's printing loads. And then all of a sudden, some kids asked me for my autograph, I signed it and he gave me £2.75.

"And I was just dying. And then I got excluded for a couple of days because of it. And there's all my mates doing it a day before. So I got excluded for that."

It comes as no surprise that Monopoly is now 'banned' from the house.

Ethan also recalled how KSI reacted to the famous video, explaining: "I got reacted to by KSI and he called me the kid from Up.

"So if you could get this out to KSI, tell him he owes me some Prime."

KSI, I hope you're reading.
