NBA 2K27 is set to arrive globally on September 4, bringing a stack of gameplay changes for players ready to take their game to the next level.

The latest instalment in the long-running basketball franchise is giving players more ways to specialise how they play, with a total of 53 badges available.

That includes 19 new additions, with badges such as Pace, Wall-Up and Flash giving players new ways to lean into their strengths and shape their game around how they want to play.

The Builder is also getting an update, allowing players to preview the attribute boosts they can unlock through cap breakers before making their decisions.

And if you take your competition online, there are changes coming to MyTEAM too.

For the first time, the game will feature a fully cross-platform Auction House, opening up the card market across platforms and giving players more opportunities to build their squads.

Meanwhile, The City is getting a new look with a centralised, neon-lit nighttime setting designed to keep players close to the action.

On the court, defence is getting an upgrade too, with smarter AI and improved shot contests set to make every possession count.

Whether you're building your dream player, putting together a MyTEAM squad or taking on the competition online, NBA 2K27 is giving basketball fans plenty of new ways to play.

NBA 2K27 launches on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch 2 on September 4, while players who pick up the Deluxe or Ultra Editions can get early access from August 28.
