I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! viewers think we were trained for Babatúndé's trial as kids, having been reminded of an old favourite from their trips to the park.

We saw Babatúndé face the Horrifying Heights Bucktucker Trial this evening after being voted into challenge by the public.

"The more I think about it the more I’m actually getting vexed," he said in the Bush Telegraph.

"You guys, why did you pick me?”

He later told Ant and Dec that the public were 'evil', adding: "I clearly proved to them that I don’t like heights.”

Ant explained that all Babatúndé had to do was make his way around the circular structure collecting stars as he moved along.

Dec piped up: “And that’s all he has to do?”

Ant then continued: "Well, no, because as you can see Babatúndé it’s 100ft in the air. Once you collect a star, all you have to do is clip it to yourself. Every star you collect is worth a meal for camp. The last star, you have to get, will require a leap of faith.”

With the rain lashing down, things went from bad to worse that the circular structure began to spin.

As the comedian made his way around the narrow circular ledge without losing his balance, many viewers were reminded of a park staple from when they were kids.

"We were all trained for this as children," one person tweeted.

Another commented: "I LITERALLY SAID THIS EXACT THING HAHAHA."

After making it to the top level, Babatúndé eventually reached out and grabbed his final star with just 10 seconds to go.

However, he was then told by Ant he had to step off the ledge for it to count - prompting the celeb to make the final leap, in turn earning himself 10 out of 10 stars.

He told the hosts: “I kept saying to myself, ‘You are crazy, how am I doing this right now?’ That’s all I kept thinking, ‘How am I doing this?’"

While some viewers were busy reminiscing about their childhoods, others were full of praise for Babatúndé's efforts.

One said: "Stop the count. We already have our king of the jungle. BABATUNDE. What a legend! I am convinced he is the guy to beat now. Never been anywhere close to tears watching a trial."

Someone else wrote: "I swear, watching Babatunde doing that trial is the most inspirational thing I’ve seen all year."

A third added: "Babatunde smashing this trial after not being able to do the skyscraper challenge, we love a redemption arc!!"
