If you've been glued to this year's season of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! you might have noticed some of the campmates making secret signals to their loved ones at home.

The show only kicked off last weekend and it's already been pretty eventful.

Not only are the campers living off rationed food after BBC Radio 1 DJ Dean McCullough shouted those eight dreaded words during a trial *again*, but in Thursday's ep, two newcomers - Maura Higgins and Reverend Richard Coles - joined the camp.

Wagatha Christie herself, Coleen Rooney, also revealed how husband Wayne writes her poems and viewers noticed there's been some contraband smuggled into camp.

There's a lot going on, but it hasn't stopped some eagle-eyed viewers from noticing a couple of the campmates have been sending secret signals to family members at home.

For those who are missing their kids, being in the jungle for weeks without any contact must be pretty tough.

This year, both Alan Halsall and Danny Jones have been letting their family know they're thinking of them.

Fans have noticed that Alan regularly makes a heart shape with his hands, believed to be a signal to his daughter, Sienna, who he shares with ex wife Lucy-Jo Hudson.

One person wrote on X: "Alan's little hand heart again."

While another said: "ALAN DOING A HAND HEART BLESS."

Others were less enthusiastic about the gesture, however, with another adding: "Can Alan please stop making that heart thing with his hands, annoys the c**p out of me that."

Meanwhile, Danny's wife Georgia Horsley revealed the McFly star has been making a secret signal for their six-year-old son, Cooper.

"Cooper has got a little signal that he watches out for, Danny has done it!" Georgia told Lorraine.

"He is loving it! I still don't think he fully understands the grandeur of it."

It's not entirely sure what gesture Danny has been making but viewers believe it could be a finger point the singer does every time Ant and Dec visit camp to reveal who's taking part in the bushtucker trial.

It's not the first time celebs have sent secret signals home.

During last year's season, JLS star Marvin Humes would tap his chest four times for his kids at home, meanwhile Giovanna Fletcher - who won the series back in 2020 - touched her thumb to her nose and wiggled her fingers as a gesture to her children.
