The Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts, alongside the Chiefs' quarterback Patrick Mahomes, will make history as the first two black quarterbacks to start in the same Super Bowl.

Each captain of their team, they spoke about their triumphs during the media even on Monday night in Phoenix.

The American NFL quarterback has a net worth of $2 million (£1.67 million) and an average annual salary of $1 million (£835k).

Born in Houston, Texas, he attended the University of Alabama, and in addition to football, he also participated in powerlifting.

Whilst most American footballers of a certain calibre splash out on million dollar luxury mansions, Hurts remains humble and rents a small apartment in Philadelphia when he is training, and lives with his parents three-bedroom house when he is home in Houston!

Who is Jalen Hurts’ girlfriend?

The Eagles quarterback went public with his girlfriend, Bryonna Rivera Burrows, after winning the NFC Championship in January.

Hurts and Burrows first crossed paths at the University of Alabama, and Bryonna graduated in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and political science.

The announcement of their relationship has broken the hearts of any potential suitors, but we’re sure that Miss Burrows will be making an appearance on February 12 at the Super Bowl!
