And, quite frankly, they don't believe it (sorry, I had to).

We know this thanks to Meldrew Point - a Twitter page dedicated to letting people know when celebrities reach 19,537 days old.

Wilson recently turned 86, but One Foot in the Grave started all the way back in 1990 - and so when celebs turn approximately 53-and-a-half, they reach their Meldrew Point.

More often than not it demonstrates the stark contrast between famous people IRL and the grumpy sitcom character.

"She's reached 19,537 days old, matching Richard Wilson's age when episode 1 of One Foot In The Grave was aired on Jan 4, 1990. I don't believe it!"

In response, one person wrote: "Hard to believe they're the same species let alone the same age at that point!!"

Another said, "She looks like she hasn’t aged at all," while a third joked, "Go on then, I'll go for the low hanging fruit... 'I don't believe it!'."

A fourth added: "Would be hilarious to see Aniston play the role in exactly the same way as Richard Wilson, same supporting cast, same storyline and everything!"

Numerous people agreed with the idea, with one writing: "Only slightly serious idea... remake! With her as Victoria Meldrew!"

Okay, jokes aside, when can we see this commissioned?

And then, of course, there were also commenters who were simply baffled at the existence of Meldrew Point, including this Twitter user who said, "WTF is this account I've found," alongside a laughing emoji.

Other celebrities to have reached the unusual milestone recently include Dave Grohl, Shaggy and Lucy Liu.

The same goes for Hugh Jackman, Owen Wilson, Brendan Fraser and Will Smith.

Speaking under the Foo Fighters singer's post, someone quipped: "'I don't believe it' could definitely be a Foo Fighters song."

On the Fresh Prince star's post, another joked: "Hitting Meldrew Point and Chris Rock in the same year, what a time to be alive."
