Jordan Peterson, the distinguished and somewhat controversial Canadian psychologist is coming to the UK for his 2022 Tour. The cultural warrior is sure to provoke both upset and praise as he preaches the ideas published in his latest book, Beyond Order: 12 More Rules for Life and more.
Jordan Peterson is a clinical psychologist and a professor at the University of Toronto. Aside from his work in the area of psychology Peterson is perhaps most well known for being a public intellectual and YouTube personality, gaining widespread fame for his interviews and speeches, most notably with Cathy Newman in 2018.
Peterson has obtained a cult following for his right wing views concerning political correctness and feminism. He argues that the West has been encompassed by a wave of political correctness which the universities are largely responsible for.
Peterson believes that in recent years the masculine spirit is under assault, claiming in BBC interview that there has been a ‘backlash against masculinity’. Peterson was diagnosed with severe depression which led to him being put in a medically induced coma in January 2020.
Peterson has been married to Tammy Roberts since 1989, and the couple have a daughter, Mikhaila and son, Julian together.
This September Jordan Peterson will head to the UK for his ‘Beyond Order: 12 More Rules for Life Tour’, named after his recent book. He will perform in London, Birmingham, Manchester and Glasgow.
Peterson has a confirmed net worth of $8 Million and he disclosed in an interview with Martin Weill that he earns around $35,000 per speaking engagement and close to $200,000 per month from his consulting work as a clinical psychologist.
Peterson has accumulated 2.1 million followers on Twitter and 3.7 million on Instagram.
