Johnny Depp Forced Amber Heard To Perform Oral Sex On Him When He Was Angry, Says Psychologist

The expert said Depp inflicted 'sexual violence' on Heard in 'drug-fuelled rages' and got angry when he couldn't perform in the bedroom.

A psychologist who examined Amber Heard for dozens of hours has made damning revelations during Johnny Depp's defamation trial against his ex-wife.

The court has heard several days' worth of testimony about Heard's behaviour while she was married to the Pirates of the Caribbean star.

However, it's now Heard's defence team's turn to bring people onto the witness stand and testify about Depp's behaviour from Amber's perspective.

Dr Dawn Hughes, who is a clinical and forensic psychologist as well as an expert in domestic violence, interviewed Heard for 29 hours, according to Insider.

She revealed to the court what Heard told her in regards to Depp's alleged 'drug-fuelled rages'.

"When Mr. Depp was drunk or high, he'd throw her on the bed, rip off her nightgown, and try to have sex with her," Dr Hughes said.

"There were times when he forced her to give him oral sex when he was angry. These weren't in loving moments. These were angry moments.

"These were moments of dominance, moments where he was trying to get control of her."

Dr Hughes also spoke about one alleged incident where Depp apparently performed a cavity search on Heard to 'find cocaine'.

The court has heard how the Aquaman star hit Depp, however the psychologist believes this doesn't compare to how Depp behaved in the marriage.

"Even though she yelled and hit him and said some terrible things to him, it was never able to shift the balance of power in the relationship," Dr Hughes said.

She added: "If he was not able to perform he would get more angry at her and blame her."

After conducting a forensic evaluation of Heard, Dr Hughes concluded the actor's experience was 'consistent about what we know about Intimate Partner Violence’ and that she had PTSD.

She told the court: “[My] main opinion is that Ms. Heard’s report of intimate partner violence and the records I reviewed is consistent with what we know in the field about intimate partner violence, characterised by physical violence, psychological aggression, sexual violence, coercive control and surveillance behaviours.”

Depp is currently suing his ex-wife over a 2018 op-ed she wrote in The Washington Post, which claimed she was a survivor of physical and emotional abuse.

Although Heard never mentioned the actor by name, Depp says the article tarnished his reputation, which ultimately led to the demise of his career.
