Kevin Feige Says Loki Is The Most Watched Marvel TV Series On Disney+

The Marvel boss also revealed production on the second season will kick off in a matter of weeks, with the whole cast set to return.

Kevin Feige has revealed Loki was the most-watched Marvel show on Disney+, beating out WandaVision for the top spot.

The Marvel boss described Loki's adventures in a Marvel Cinematic Universe-adjacent world as a 'bold swing'.

He also admitted the 'wild ride paid off'.

Feige went on to reveal that Loki is the first Marvel TV show to be renewed for a second season with production kicking off in a few weeks.

Tom Hiddleston and the entire cast from season one will reprise their roles in the second season as Loki, his friends, and the other Lokis take on the bureaucratic Time Variance Authority after OG Loki nicked off with the Tesseract.

That means Sophia Di Martino will reprise her role as Sylvie and Owen Wilson will return as the iconic Mobius.

It also means we will see Tara Strong as the evil little clock Miss Minutes. And we can't wait.

Kate Herron is expected to return as director and Michael Waldron as head writer.

Fans on social media are thrilled about the God Of Mischief getting a second season of his own adventures.

One Twitter user said: "I can’t wait for Season 2 already. Tom Hiddleston was born to play this role."

A second added: "If Loki Season 2 isn’t good I’ll do things that’ll make The Scarlet Witch proud."

A third chimed in with a sarcastic dig at some of the show's critics: "But homophobic people said LGBT characters aren’t profitable?"

One of the biggest revelations in Loki was the God of Mischief's admission that he is bisexual.

While speaking with The Guardian, Hiddleston spoke about what his character’s public sexuality meant for the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

"I wanted to make sure we didn’t lose the bits that people loved while doing something new. I also hope Loki coming out as bisexual was meaningful to people who spotted it," he said.

"It was a small step, and there’s further to go. But it was definitely important to all of us."

The character came out as bisexual in episode three of the first season during a conversation with Sylvie Laufeydottir.

Laufeydottir asked Loki if he’d ever been in a relationship with a 'princess' or 'prince'.

To which he responded: "A bit of both."

Feige also announced at the same Disney+ upfront that She-Hulk: Attorney at Law will start streaming on August 17.

Between that and the Loki news, we just don't know what we will do with ourselves until then.
