Nick Cannon Is Edging Towards Getting A Vasectomy After Fathering 8 Children

Nick Cannon Is Edging Towards Getting A Vasectomy After Fathering 8 Children

"I ain't looking to populate the Earth completely," the American television host said.

American TV host Nick Cannon has revealed he has looked into getting a vasectomy after fathering his eighth child.

The 41-year-old father of seven - soon to be eight - sat down with E! News to admit that while he has been 'blessed with the gifts of children', it is time to take a break.

"I already went and got my vasectomy consultation," he told E! News.

"I ain't looking to populate the Earth completely, but I'm definitely looking forward to taking care and loving all the children that I currently have."

Cannon admitted that his busy life, work schedule, and army of children does make it difficult to balance all of his responsibilities.

"I do have the guilt of not having enough time to spend with all of my children, as we all do because we're working and constantly going, especially right now when they're younger."

But, despite having a small army of little ones, Cannon revealed he puts in the time with each of his children.

"We was doing little league with my five-year-old [Golden] this weekend. We got swim practice this week. I take my kids to school every morning. I FaceTime.

Two weeks ago, [Cannon's 11-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe] had their birthday party."

He added: "We shut down Six Flags."

Well that sounds hectic.

Cannon has twins, Moroccan and Monroe, with his ex-wife Mariah Carey, along with a four-year-old named Golden Sagon and one-year-old called Powerful Queen with Brittany Bell.

He has also fathered seven-month-old twins, Zion and Zillion, with Abby De La Rosa.

Model and actress Bre Tiesi is currently expecting Cannon's eighth child.

Although he has so many bundles of joy, Cannon was left devastated late last year when Zen, the five-month-old son he shared with Alyssa Scott, died from a brain tumour.

Cannon has also recently revealed that he has been on a 'celibacy journey' shortly after revealing he is having his eighth child.

On an episode of The Nick Cannon Show in February, he admitted that his life was 'out of control' and he needed to reign in his behaviour.

"My therapist was one of the [people] who said that I should probably be celibate because I had shared that news, that Bre was pregnant," the Wild 'n Out star explained.

Well, it looks like his days of celibacy may be numbered now.
