The social media team behind Peppa Pig has savagely trolled Kanye West.

The rapper recently released his highly-anticipated 10th studio album, Donda, and it's received mixed reviews by critics.

Pitchfork gave the 27-song record a 6.0 out of 10, which isn't horrible, but not great considering how much hype was surrounding the album.

After the music news organisation posted their review, Peppa Pig wanted to world to know they managed to get a 6.5 out of 10 from Pitchfork for their album Peppa's Adventures: The Album.

The social media team wrote on Twitter: "Peppa didn't need to host listening parties at Mercedes Benz Stadium to get that 0.5."

The post was sadly deleted from their page and who knows whether it was from backlash from Ye stans or just because the higher ups thought it was in poor taste.

There's no denying that Peppa's Adventures: The Album slaps and has some epic tracks, but to try and pull a fast one over Kanye isn't wise.

Even though the social media team took down the sledge, they have responded to at least one other tweet praising the them for slagging off Kanye's Donda.

While some fans around the world are saying Donda is one of the best albums in Kanye's discography, Pitchfork's 6.0 out of 10 actually places it as one of the worst.

The review labelled the album as 'barely finished' despite it going through multiple changes and lengthy delays.

While it was praised for having 'euphoric highs that lack connective tissue', Pitchfork ultimately said the project, which was in honour of Kanye's late mother Dr Donda West, was 'a data dump of songs searching for a higher calling'.

"Something has dulled in his kingdom and the thrill of watching man vs. art has turned into a rote acceptance of Kanye and his stadium-sized album release events, shelved projects, billion-dollar sneaker empire, public grappling with bipolar disorder, devotion to Christianity and non-secular music, MAGA tryst with former President Donald Trump, and presidential run of his own," contributing editor Dylan Green said.

The only thing I think we can all hope for is a Kanye vs Peppa Pig rap battle to see who really is the best.
