Stranger Things Viewers Shocked To Discover Two Main Characters Were Also In Game Of Thrones

Fans can't believe they didn't clock it at first.

Fans of Stranger Things have been shocked to learn two main characters from season four were also in Game of Thrones.

While it's nothing new for actors to have roles in multiple large-scale productions, many were surprised they didn't clock the two castings at first.

The more obvious Stranger Things role was the Russian prison guard, Dmitri Antonov, aka Enzo, who was played by Tom Wlaschiha.

For those who were fooled by the shorter hair and different accent, Wlaschiha played Jaqen H'ghar in the iconic TV series created by George R.R. Martin.

Jaqen H'ghar was the one who led Arya Stark (Masie Williams) on her quest to become faceless and taught her how to become the best assassin in Westeros.

The next casting that flew over some people's heads was the rock and roll legend Eddie Munson, who was played by Joseph Quinn.

The new favourite character in The Duffer Brothers' universe played Koner in Game of Thrones, who was a soldier sworn to House Stark.

He appeared only once in the huge show: season seven in the episode 'The Spoils of War'. It was a fleeting moment, but it still happened.

While some of you might be thinking 'well, duh, I knew they were in Stranger Things and Game of Thrones', it's taken the rest of social media by surprise.

One person wrote: "Honestly did not remember either of them were in GoT. Thanks for the reminder!"

Another added: "WAIT HOW DID I NOT NOTICE THIS?"

A third said: "I WONDERED WHY ENZO LOOKED SO FAMILIAR."

Wow, capitals really makes it seems like they were shouting while writing this.

Sadly though, just as Quinn's role in Game of Thrones was brief, so too is his time in Stranger Things.

The beloved new character was killed in the latest season of The Duffer Brothers' incredible Netflix series, much to the disappointment of fans.

Quinn's character had a horrible, soul-crushing death at the hands (or teeth) of a whole flock of seething interdimensional bat monsters in the Upside Down.

His death has been so gut-wrenching to fans that a petition has been started to get him included in the fifth and final season.

More than 23,000 people have signed a petition calling for The Duffer Brothers to weave his role back into Hawkins somehow.

While it's unlikely, we have seen other characters come back for some flashbacks or creepy Upside Down madness, so who knows.
