In a recent interview with Twitch Streamer Trainwreck, Lil Uzi Vert revealed he is planning on taking to the skies in a $700,000 jetpack.
This is not a hugely shocking move for the rapper, who released the track ‘Team Rocket’ back in 2016 and is known for his lavish and unexpected purchases.
Lil Uzi Vert, real name Symere Bysil Woods, said in the interview: “To be honest, I’ve been like really like on some other s**t.”

The ‘Money Longer’ singer continued: “I’m trying to buy this jetpack right--,” before being interrupted with an 'oooooh' from another streamer.
Showing listeners he is dead certain about this project, Uzi snapped back: “No this is serious.”
He then went onto say that while, “It’s not about the money,” the total cost of his purchase would put him out 'maybe 700 grand, 600 grand'.
We wouldn’t be surprised if this includes a custom wrap like we’ve seen in his anime-inspired Audi R8 V10.

On the kind of jetpack we could expect to see the 26-year-old sporting, all we know is it’s not 'the one with the jets in the sleeve kind of thing'.
Uzi said the for one he’s trying to get: "You gotta take a class for like a year I think.”
It’s nice to know that even the richest of celebs start with a provisional licence.
While this announcement is not something you hear every day, Woods is no stranger to out-of-this-world purchase, having made headlines earlier this year for attempting to buy a planet.

Fellow artist Grimes initially broke this news, saying: "Documentation almost complete for @LILUZIVERT to legally claim wasp-127b - this is huge! First human to legally own a planet."

Uzi could also be found asking his followers for name suggestions for his new planet.
I guess he didn’t think ‘Wasp-127b’ rolled off the tongue?

Someone should remind him that shouldn’t say anything like that to his friend Grimes’ who notoriously named her child X Æ A-12.
Lil Uzi has also made the news recently for supposedly taking out his $24 million Eliantte & Co pink diamond that he had implanted into his forehead.
This comes after criticism from fans that it wasn’t in the middle of his face.
Correcting these rumours, Uzi wrote on Twitter: "It's actually in the middle. When the swelling goes down I'll get a short bar so it won't move. Y'all keep talking 'bout it's off 'cause of the long bar in it so it can move, cause of the swelling."
Unfazed by Twitter’s fashion police, the ‘Too Much Sauce’ wrapper also said: "THIS IS FASHION. I never cared about judgmental people on this earth."
