Madonna accused of doing poppers during TikTok livestream with Terri Joe

Madonna has left thousands of TikTok users stunned by appearing to sniff something during a live broadcast.

The Material Girl singer was invited on a livestream with TikToker Psyiconic, who hosts the live show as her alter-ego Terri Joe.

Terri Joe is a God-fearin' Southern belle who has her own chat show about all things pertaining to the Lord Jesus Christ on the social media app.

It's a chaotic ride, and this time fans settled in for what they assumed would be a wild interview.

However, things took a turn when Madonna pulled out a small brown bottle and proceeded to inhale whatever was coming out of it.

A stunned Terri Joe looked flabbergasted and asked: "Did you just do poppers?"

Madonna replied with: "Wooh, I've never done that before."

She then seemed to experience some sort of head rush. Head rushes and temporary woozieness are side-effects of using poppers (aka amyl nitrate).

A far more permanent side-effect of using poppers is death, with the chemical listed as a Schedule Four toxin, as per the US Poisons Standard.

While it's unknown what the 64-year-old was sniffing from the bottle, loads of people on social media thought it was poppers.

One user said: "I can’t believe I witnessed Madonna doing poppers live on TikTok."

A second added: "Madonna doing poppers live on a TikTok while getting her hair done is so funny to me."

A Third said: "Madonna doing poppers (allegedly) on live stream is the type of inspiration I needed today."

However, Madonna refuted Terri Joe's scandalous suggestion, as any righteous Southern belle would.

"No. I am a good, Christian girl," the 'Like A Virgin' singer replied.

"Are y'all right?" Terri Joe asked, before the conversation on both sides descended into snorts of laughter.

When Madonna took a second hit, Terri Joe attempted to confirm if the singer was huffing 'holy water'.

LADbible has reached out to Madonna's representation about the moment, but either way it has certainly sent social media into overdrive.

The interview marks Madonna's second appearance on Terri Joe's show, so apparently she had such a good time that once wasn't enough.

The moment comes a few weeks after the 64-year-old revealed on TikTok that she's 'gay'.

She revealed her sexuality to her fans in a short, five-second-long clip. In the video, Madonna can be seen holding a pair of hot pink underwear.

The caption over the clip reads: "If I miss, I'm gay."

She then proceeded to throw the underwear in the direction of a bin, missing spectacularly.

She finished the video with a shrug.
