Leaked documents have appeared to show how much Matt Hancock was paid for his stint on SAS: Who Dares Wins

Leaked documents have appeared to show how much Matt Hancock was paid for his stint on SAS: Who Dares Wins, as he signs up for yet another reality show.

The revelation comes just after the former Health Secretary finished his stint on I'm A Celebrity, where he secured third place.

Hancock's earnings were shared to Twitter by Guardian political correspondent, Peter Walker, who quipped: "Not bad work if you can get it."

This sum is significantly less than what he bagged for heading into the jungle, where he was reportedly given a handsome £400,000.

Hancock's appearance on SAS was reportedly filmed before he headed into the Australian outback, but it won't be aired until next year.

He has spent 80 hours on the show - which puts celebrities through gruelling military training exercises - between 24 September and 8 October.

Walker attached a screenshot from a register of MPs' interests, which showed that the MP for West Suffolk had been paid £45,000 from Minnow Films, who produce the SAS show.

His stint on the show took place while parliament was on recess from 24 September and during the Conservative Party conference which took place in Birmingham from 2 October to 5 October.

Currently, Hancock remains suspended from the Conservative Party due to taking time off from his duties as an MP to appear on I'm A Celeb.

Hancock's appearance on the ITV favourite drew mixed reactions, as many slammed him for taking on the gig as a sitting MP.

Prime Minister Rishi Sunak expressed his 'disappointment' about Hancock's reality show appearance in Aus, but the MP-turned-reality-star defended his decision to appear on the show.

Hancock said he wanted to use his appearance on the show to raise awareness about dyslexia, but most attention likely went to his serial trials, which saw him chomping down on cow anus and camel penis. Nice.

His experience in SAS is guaranteed to involve less eating tasks but will be no less challenging, as the cast put themselves to the test in Thailand.

Reportedly, some cast members were forced to leave the show on doctors' orders as the gruelling regime took its toll - with one star being forced to quit the show due to developing trench foot.

Hancock is reportedly to set to feature on SAS alongside former TOWIE star Amber Turner, Love Islander Terry Soares and rugby player Gareth Thomas, according to The Sun.

LADbible has contacted Matt Hancock, Channel Four and Minnow Films for comment.
