You'd think, after all these years, that we've seen everything when it comes to reality dating shows. But it would appear not.

While most tend to follow attractive twenty-somethings looking for love, a new series is set to hit our televisions that takes a slightly different approach.

I give you Milf Manor. I mean, we could just stop there, because it pretty much is what it says.

A bunch of older women, ranging from 40 to 60 years old, are put in a plush mansion in Mexico with a bunch of younger men.

In a trailer for the upcoming TLC series, we're introduced to some of the women taking part.

Giving her reason for taking part, one of the contestants says: "Young men have much more energy, they think out of the box. I want that."

Another reveals: "I have an extremely high libido."

While one of the other women says: "I am ready to connect with somebody who doesn't really care how old I am."

However, not all is as it seems.

Milf Manor is coming to our televisions.

Like all dating shows worth their salt, there is apparently some sort of 'shocking twist' lying in store for the milfs.

In the trailer, we see the women standing in a line waiting to meet the eight younger guys, who are all seen behind a screen.

And as the screen is dropped, the women's excitement quickly switched to stunned silence.

"What the hell?!" gasps one, with another saying: "It just got real."

I wonder what it could be?

As you'd expect, the series has certainly got people talking, it's safe to say.

Reacting to the trailer, one person said: "TV is in a bad place."

But there is one 'shocking twist'.

Another remarked: "No one thinks it's weird that they specify that these men are HALF their age? This is kinda gross."

"How are they allowed to call a tv programme this? Do they know what it means?! Is this the new love after lock up?" asked someone else.

While one critic added: "How are you all not ashamed of yourselves?"

Some people have even taken to trying to guess what the twist could be.

"Ok whats the shocking twist? My guess is that it's their own respective sons their to date the other women as old as them," suggested one.

Milf Manor starts on TLC on 15 January.
