Dolly Parton's vision of gracing the front cover of Playboy magazine once again could become a reality soon because they want her.

In January 2021, the 'Jolene' singer will turn 75 and she previously spoke to 60 Minutes explaining that it's her ambition to appear on the magazine's cover once again after her birthday.

She said: "I don't plan to retire. I just turned 74 and I plan to be on the cover of Playboy Magazine again.

"See I did Playboy Magazine years ago and I thought it'd be such a hoot if they'll go for it - I don't know if they will - if I could be on the cover again when I'm 75."

Well, it seems the people at Playboy seem to be in agreement.

A spokesperson for the magazine told LADbible: "We'd love to shoot Dolly again, and she knows that all she has to do is say the word!"

Parton donned the cover of the magazine back in October 1978 when she wore a black bunny suit and ears.

At the time the then 32-year-old was the first country singer to pose for the lifestyle mag, though she laid down some strict rules - and was clear that there was no chance of any nudity.

Back in October, the singer spoke to Scott Mills and Chris Stark on their Radio 5 Live show, telling them that, if it was in 'good taste', she would make a comeback.

When she was asked whether it was true that she was planning to do a cover for her 75th birthday, she said: "Yeah, I just might do it, if I can do it in good taste and they want it [and] we'll do it along with a really good interview inside. So, yeah, we've talked about it."

Looking back at her shoot, she added: "I have been asked, back in the day, but that was so totally not me. I would never do that.

"But that was a good article they ran in there, and it was just a fun thing to do. That was just another way I was trying to market myself, at that time, to kinda get in the mainstream..."

When she was asked whether she would don the same bunny outfit she did for the original snaps, Dolly said it wasn't out of the question.

She added: "I could probably use it. Maybe, I could probably use it, [my] boobs are still the same.

"I'm kind of cartoonish and cartoons don't really age that much. When I'm 90, I'll probably look about the same way. Just thicker makeup, bigger hair."
