Laura Lukanz, Head of Music Industry, UK, Australia and New Zealand at Amazon Music, said: “We're honoured to support the MOBO Awards as they celebrate their landmark 30th anniversary. For three decades, MOBO has played a vital role in recognising and celebrating excellence in music of Black origin, creating visibility and opportunities for artists.

“Congratulations to Kanya and her team for building such an impactful and enduring platform. We're proud to help amplify this legacy and continue the work of championing Black music and culture.”

Kanya King CBE, Founder and CEO of the MOBO Group, said: “MOBO has always been about creating space for talent to shine and for culture to be celebrated unapologetically. Bringing the Awards to audiences on Twitch with Amazon Music allows us to share that moment with fans everywhere. As we mark 30 years of the MOBO platform, it’s powerful to partner with a platform that understands how culture travels.

“From the Awards themselves to the MOBO Music Summit as part of the Fringe Festival in Manchester, this collaboration helps us reach new audiences and expand the conversation around music, creativity and opportunity.”

It will include two Amazon Music hosted panel events, with more information coming soon.
