The rapper Jelly Roll, also known as Jason Bradley DeFord, opened up on his weight loss journey and how it affected his sex life.
The 41-year-old rapper used to weigh in at 540lbs but has since put in the work to more than halve his weight down to 265lbs as he told Men's Health that his scales only went up to 520lbs and the needle still went beyond that.
He started out with therapy and getting help for his addiction to food, explaining that things started changing positively for him after he began treating his relationship with food like an addiction.
"When I started really looking at the source of why I was eating. What was I eating for?" he wondered, and said that when he started out his goal was not to lose weight per se but to get healthy.

Jelly Roll worked with a wellness clinic, which did a bunch of tests on him, and when his blood was tested he was asked 'how are you alive?'
Another test explained a problem he was having in the bedroom due to his weight as he got his testosterone levels checked and revealed that his were comparable with 'a preteen boy'.
For someone his age, a normal level of testosterone would be somewhere between 300 and 900ng/dL, while people with obesity who have their T-levels affected tend to be below 300.
Jelly Roll's levels of testosterone were not even a fifth of that, and he told Men's Health it had a significant impact on his sex life with his wife, Alisa DeFord, also known as Bunnie XO.
He said: "When I went in there for the test, it was bad. Bad. The world opened up when I seen it on paper. I was like, that's my testosterone level? I mean, dude, we’re talking a 57.
"You can’t get it up without T. I was married to a smoke show, and I was still struggling."
While he has shed a huge amount of weight, the rapper said he would likely be on testosterone replacement therapy for the rest of his life, but he's seen improvements in his health in a lot of areas, and his sex like is one of them.
"Now it’s a totally different thing. I’m chasing her around the house, you know what I’m saying?" he told the magazine.
"I’m like a teenage kid again! I’m like the Pink Panther: I bust out of every corner. And she opens the cabinet and I go, ‘Hi!’ It's got to be fun, this new life.
"Dramatically different world."
He's planning on getting loose skin removed in the future and seems to be enjoying that different world in which he now gets to live.
