My Chemical Romance fans are making a last-minute dash for Wembley Stadium tickets amid speculation that there will be 'more UK shows'.
In case you haven't already heard, the American rockers are bringing their famous The Black Parade Tour to this side of the pond next summer to celebrate the album's 20th anniversary.
The band confirmed that they will perform two massive gigs at Wembley Stadium (Friday, July 10 and Saturday, July 11, 2026), but fans are convinced that further shows will be announced shortly.
Will MCR announce more UK dates? (Getty/Allen J. Schaben) On Reddit, one fan shared their thoughts: "During The World Contamination Tour, MCR only came to London and Manchester in 2010, but then in 2011 they came back for another London show, more dates in the Midlands and up north, plus Wales, Scotland, and Ireland too, and these later shows were in bigger venues because the demand was proven. This is how tour roll outs work, especially for foreign artists who can't take super high risks just in case it doesn't work out.
"MCR have never headlined UK stadiums before. That’s why I think we should all be patient. London might be a way to see how well a stadium show sells in the UK - they will have all your geographical data to analyse where people are coming from."
A second fan added: "I agree that MCR will definitely come back again, but I doubt that the second leg will be another Black Parade-themed tour and it will morph into something else, perhaps an album tour for MCR5?"
A third shared, "There’s definitely gonna be more [shows]! Are people forgetting that they announced the original UK reunion tour in stages? They didn’t just drop all the dates right away. And it makes no sense for them to come to the UK just for two shows. You watch... these will all sell out and then next week, they’ll announce two or three new dates."
