Nine Inch Nails fans are celebrating after the band have been confirmed to headline this year's Roskilde Festival.

The US hitmakers will be making the pitstop on July 4 as part of their massive European tour, which will also see them visit Dublin’s 3Arena, Manchester’s Co-op Live, and The 02 in London.

The band last performed at Denmark's Roskilde back in 2018, so this is a rare chance to see them live. Formed in Cleveland, Ohio back in 1988, the band is led by Trent Reznor and collaborator Atticus Ross with a live band accompanying them on stage. The band is now famed for hits including Closer, Head Like A Hole, and Something I Can Never Have.

If you can't make the festival, tickets are still up for grabs for Nine Inch Nails' UK tour here.

One of the biggest music events in Europe, more than 200 artists perform at the Roskilde Festival every year, and the lineup is shaping up nicely for 2025.

In exciting news, Olivia Rodrigo, Stormzy, Jamie XX, and Fontaines D.C have made the billboard alongside rising star Lola Young. Other standout names to look out for include Wet Leg, Doechii, Rachel Chinouriri, The Raveonettes, Shaboozey, MRCY, and Beabadoobee.

“Roskilde Festival is not only about showcasing today’s best music; it is also about offering our participants a glimpse into the future,” festival organisers said. “Artists like Doechii, Shaboozey, and Lola Young represent the next wave of global stars, and we are proud to be part of their journey as they shape the future of music.”

When is Roskilde Festival 2025?

For those unfamiliar with the festival, it’s been running since 1971, and will take place at Festival Site, which is located outside of Roskilde, Denmark. Around 130,000 people are expected to attend and tickets are selling fast.
