It's almost time to pour yourself a gin and tonic while feeling supersonic - as Oasis will return to the stage for the first time in 16 years later this week.

Months after one half of the Gallagher brothers hinted at how long their gigs would last, the iconic Manchester band have now confirmed how long they'll actually be up on stage.

The Live '25 Tour officially kicks off in Cardiff this Friday (4 July) at the Principality Stadium, while the lads are also set to rock people's socks off the following night too.

Then, Oasis will head back up to their hometown to play five shows at Heaton Park, before heading down south to perform a series of shows at Wembley Stadium.

Stints in Edinburgh and Dublin come after that, before the band then heads overseas to continue their highly anticipated reunion tour.

In a since-deleted post on X, which was originally shared on Saturday (28 June), Liam Gallagher informed fans about what time he and Noel will head on stage.

The 'Wonderwall' singer, 52, wrote: "Oasis on stage 8.15pm Cardiff don't be late or we'll start without you and you don't want that now do ya see ya there LG x."

Fans didn't know what to think, given that Liam later removed the post - but now, the set times of everyone involved in Oasis' reunion tour have been officially announced.

For both gigs in Cardiff, the doors of the Principality Stadium will open at 5pm, an hour before the Liverpool-based Britpop band, Cast, head on stage to warm up the crowd.

The Verve frontman Richard Ashcroft will then take over at 7pm sharp, before he will then pass the baton to the Gallagher brothers.

The pair - who were feuding for more than a decade after breaking up the band in 2009 - will then take to the stage at 8.15pm, as Liam previously stated.

Oasis confirmed they have a curfew of 10.30pm to abide by, meaning that they will be belting out tunes for two hours and 15 minutes.

The timings seemed to divide fans online, as some were expecting them to be up on stage for a lot longer, although others were pretty chuffed with the proposed length of Liam and Noel's set.

One social media user said: "Not a long enough gig for the ticket prices."

Another wrote: "Here I gooooo! Buzzing as f**k. See you next Friday."

A third added: "If I get to see two hours of Oasis, it will be well worth the money."

A fourth said: "Genuinely shocked by this, that's early doors that. But I ain't complaining."

While a fifth chimed in saying: "Looks perfect! Don't like to be up late these days."

Liam has been hyping fans up online ahead of the gig, telling supporters 'don't be scared it's only rock 'n' roll' when asked what people should expect when attending an Oasis gig for the first time.

When one user pointed out that Taylor Swift's concerts spanned three and a half hours, he hilariously wrote back: "It’s not a competition."

"It’s not a competition to see who the f**k can play the longest you weirdo," he said in another post. "And if it was we would and we’d win the end."

Liam also seemed to hint that he would be bringing the shows in Cardiff to a close while replying to a fan who said there is 'not a chance Liam isn’t closing the gig'.

He simply responded saying 'exactly', suggesting he's going to see Oasis' first shows out in style.

So dig your bucket hats and parkas out people, as it's almost time.
