Oasis announce they will release more tickets for reunion shows as dates approach

Your dream of seeing Oasis live may not be over after all

Oasis have confirmed that 'a very limited number of additional tickets' will be going on sale for their reunion tour.

Cast your mind back to last September and you'll more than likely remember the chaotic scramble for tickets after Oasis announced their reunion tour – which will be the first time Noel and Liam Gallagher will share a stage since their infamous 2009 break-up.

Unfortunately demand to see the Manchester brothers live vastly outstripped the tickets available, meaning that many people were left staring at crashed webpages for hours on end while others were booted out the queue and accused of being a robot.

Add that to the reports of 'dynamic pricing' models used by websites and the grossly inflated resale market, and you can see why a lot of fans ended the day feeling a little broken hearted.

However there may still be a chance after all, as the band have now announced that a limited number of tickets may become available in the run up to the July dates.

Confirming the news with a statement on social media, the band wrote: "As the shows are getting closer, Oasis promoters may be able to release a very limited number of additional tickets for sale once final sight lines are checked and the production is fine-tuned.

The statement continued: "These final production releases will happen over the coming days."

How to get last minute Oasis tickets

The band noted that members will need to be a member of Oasismynet in order to secure the goods, and anyone who has signed up will receive a link in their inbox shortly.

They continued: "If you are an Oasismynet member, keep an eye on your inbox for an email from your regular Oasismynet or Ticketmaster correspondence address.

"Please double-check the email is from the correct account before following links or sharing any purchase information."
