Oasis massively teases 2027 tour ticket sale date

The rumoured 2027 Oasis tour is one of the most eagerly awaited music events for next year - and now the band has announced it’s officially on.

Just one day after the band's documentary Don't Look Back In Anger, which chronicles Noel and Liam Gallagher's reunion in 2025, the skies lit up with drones at 11pm over the Etihad Stadium, which we all know is the home of the brothers' football team, Manchester City.

As part of the display, 'Oasis' appeared in the drone formation, which was followed by '14.09.25' and '4pm BST' - something Liam himself shared on social media along with the caption: "Spiritual."

Yep, that means something big is coming on 14 September at 4pm.

Oasis have been building up expectation to the tickets going live for their suspected tour next year, with multiple rumours admittance can be snapped up – only for these hopes to have been dashed so far.

However, there is more than a clue as to when music-lovers can expect to get their hands on tickets.

With the Etihad Stadium being picked for the display, it seems probable that this venue will be major part of the tour, if not the opening night.

There has been speculation the brothers have been planning a massive residency in Manchester as part of their 2027 plans – and this drone show could signal the rumours have some credence.

However, teasers released by the band have also hinted at a huge role for Glasgow, with the Celtic Park site being touted as the likely choice.

And that's not to mention the leaked touring schedule, which gave 23 UK dates among other European stops:

The timing of the announcement coincided with thousands of music fans pouring out of the nearby Co-Op Live area, reports the Manchester Evening News.

It’s been since the end of the 2025 comeback tour that fans have been forced to wait for the next opportunity to see the brothers live.

The pair caused a huge sensation after they came back together for the 2025 tour following years of estrangement.

They kicked off in the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, toured the UK before going international with tickets sold out in Ireland, Canada, the US, Mexico, throughout Asia, Australia and South America.

Their previous tour was way back in 2009.
