Spice Girls will reportedly reunite for their 30th anniversary

The iconic girl group just might headline at Glastonbury next year.

Make sure you’re sitting down for this one, as the Spice Girls are planning a major reunion for their 30th anniversary.

Yes, that’s right. The band might officially be back together as an inside source has teased that the girl group would headline at Glastonbury next year.

"Their schedules are pretty manic so getting them all in one room at any one time is hard. But over the past six months there’s been more contact as a five than at any time since the 2012 Olympics," an insider told The Sun.

Allegedly, Emma Bunton, Geri Horner, Mel Brown, and Mel Chisholm have been in talks for tour dates in 2024 and the possibility of appearing on the pyramid stage just to, you know, spice up our life.

However, sadly, Posh Spice will unlikely join the reunion, as a close source told The Mail: “Glastonbury is possibly the coolest gig on the planet but Victoria won’t be doing it next year.

“She has carved herself a career as a fashion designer that she has put blood, sweat and tears into, so singing is something she has to carefully consider.”

Oh, come on Vic, just get the black spaghetti strap dress out, slap on a bold dark lip and start warming up.

The insider added that the fashion designer would likely not be a part of the reunion as she has been previously ‘ridiculed’ for her vocals and is a ‘different person now’.

However, according to the source, Beckham is not completely ruling out Glastonbury.

“She is a different person now. She looks back fondly on her years in the Spice Girls - they were very special for her - so she hasn’t ruled out a celebration, maybe, at some point,” they told the outlet.

“And Glastonbury are not at all keen on having the group without Posh, it just doesn’t have the same pull.”

However, the mother of four will take part in the docuseries on the girl group set to be directed by Star Wars' JJ Abrams.

Reportedly, the series would centre around unheard stories and anecdotes about the band when they were together.
