System of a Down fans have been waiting for almost nine years for the band to return to our shores, and competition for tickets is fierce.
Many fans have been left disappointed by the fact that only two UK dates have been announced so far.
One fan caused panic when they spotted something on Ticketmaster, and thought that the Download Festival line-up had been leaked with System of a Down on the bill.
Sadly, it was a false alarm (for now, anyway!), as the first wave of the Download Festival line-up doesn't get announced until November time.

The post they saw was for one of a number of pre-sales ahead of the tickets going on general sale, for the Download Family.
People who sign up to the festival's fan club newsletter can get early access to tickets, and you can find out how to register below.
There's just the two dates for your diary (so far) to see the Toxicity stars.
The last time the band played here in the UK was actually at Download when they headlined back in 2017, so it would be a nice full-circle moment if it were to happen.

The band will be playing at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Monday, July 13 and Wednesday, July 15, with Queens Of The Stone Age and Acid Bath in support.
Make sure you’re at SOAD’s first UK show in almost a decade by signing up to one of five pre-sales taking place before the general sale begins:
Anyone who doesn’t manage to snap up tickets in the SOAD pre-sale will have another chance when general tickets go live via Ticketmaster. Set your timers for 12pm on Friday, September 19. Ticket prices have not been confirmed.

For hospitality tickets, you'll want to head over to Seat Unique and Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
If you miss out on general sale, resale tickets will also likely be able to purchase from Viagogo, StubHub, and VividSeats.
To avoid ticket scams and ensure a money-back guarantee, always purchase resale tickets through verified sites.
The band has been busy touring in the US and Canada and below is an example of the songs you can expect to hear in London next year.
