Tupac's manger Suge Knight, who is currently serving a 28-year prison sentence for voluntary manslaughter, claims to have heard an audio recording which details the 'truth' behind Tupac Shakur's death.
Considered to be one of the greatest artists of all time, Tupac was fatally shot in a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas on 7 September, 1996.
The 25-year-old was riding in a BMW driven by Death Row Records co-founder Marion 'Suge' Knight, as the pair had just left a Mike Tyson boxing match at the MGM Grand and were supposedly en route to the afterparty at Club 662.

At approximately 11:15pm, however, they had stopped at a red light on East Flamingo Road when a white Cadillac pulled up alongside the BMW and fired multiple rounds into Tupac's car.
The rapper had been shot four times and died in hospital six days later.
Knight, 60, meanwhile, sustained minor injuries from bullet fragments and is now serving a 28-year sentence for an unrelated manslaughter conviction.
Until two years ago, no one was charged with the murder as former gang member Orlando Anderson, a suspected shooter, was shot and killed in an unrelated gang shootout in May 1998.

But in 2023, Duane 'Keffe D' Davis, the uncle of Anderson, was arrested and charged with orchestrating the shooting.
He admitted in a previous interview that he was in the Cadillac when the shooting took place. Davis' trial has been rescheduled for 9 February, 2026.
Now, in an interview from prison, Knight told Piers Morgan on his show, Piers Morgan Uncensored, that he previously had access to a 'damning audio recording' which fellow rapper Snoop Dogg was allegedly aware of.

"I could have been the a**hole and released that audio," Knight said. "Releasing that audio would have put Snoop in prison for the rest of his life."
Knight questioned how Snoop was allegedly aware of the audio if he wasn't involved.
The rapper - who was signed with Tupac on Death Row before leaving in 1998 - has previously denied the claims.
Snoop acquired Death Row in February 2022 after purchasing the brand and trademark from MNRK Music Group.

In his latest album Iz It A Crime?, the 53-year-old appeared to take aim at Knight in a track titled 'ShutYoB***hA**Up'.
"I can see why you mad, I bought everything you own / Now you in PC snitching on the phone," he raps.
"And if he hit the main line, he gon' see what we bout / Oh, b***h-a** n***a, I'm a rich-a** n***a / Waiting for you to get home so we can get the s**t on / I stayed up n***a, paid up n***a / Your jailhouse stories, they made up, n***a."
