My Policeman: Release Date, Trailer and Cast

My Policeman: Release Date, Trailer and Cast

You’ll be thrilled to hear that you really don’t have to wait long to see the film's romance unfold.

The eagerly anticipated Harry Styles’ next acting venture, My Policeman, is now upon us…*cue screams*

The romantic drama is set in the southern seaside town of Brighton in the 1950s, and focuses on a heartbreaking love triangle that contends with the social constraints of the time.

Tom Burgess is a gay policeman who captures the attention of schoolteacher Marion, in which she falls madly in love with. Despite Tom’s sexuality, the two get married due to the period, however Tom is in love with museum curator Patrick. Marion becomes severely jealous of the pair’s clear affection for each other, and gets him arrested for indecency.

After that whistle stop tour of what is set to be an oscar award-winning performance, when can we actually see the film?!

When Is My Policeman Coming Out?

You’ll be thrilled to hear that you really don’t have to wait long to see the romance unfold, with Amazon Prime Video announcing earlier today that we can stream the film from 4th November 2022.

When Will The Trailer Be Out?

The trailer for the 1950s love story is yet to be released by Prime Video, much to the disappointment of fans, who were teased into believing that it would in fact be released today, or at least something for us to hold onto!

Yesterday, Prime Video put out a tweet stating: “My Policeman. First look tomorrow.”

Fans all over the world were anticipating some scenes to be dropped by the streaming service, but we were served with just two stills from the flick, come on Amazon we need more than this!

Who Will Star In The Cast Of My Policeman?

Alongside Mr Styles himself, there are some hugely talented actors set to feature in the film:

  • Harry Styles as Tom Burgess
  • Emma Corrin as Marion Taylor
  • David Dawson as Patrick Hazlewood
  • Linus Roache as Older Tom Burgess
  • Gina McKee as Older Marion Taylor
  • Rupert Everett as Older Patrick Hazlewood

Directed by Michael Grandage, I think it’s safe to say that people are excited about the romance film, particularly the feature of One Direction heart throb Harry Styles. November couldn’t come quick enough!
