Netflix has announced a seventh season of Black Mirror, and has also revealed when we can expect to see it on the streaming platform.

The official Netflix account posted a teaser on X, captioning it: "Black Mirror S7 - coming 2025. #GeekedWeek".

Geeked Week is Netflix's event in which they announce the upcoming slates for all their nerdiest titles, with this year's including details about Squid Game, Arcane, One Piece, and, obviously, Black Mirror.

Whilst another season has been muted in the past, this is an official confirmation from Netflix, and comes with a release date of when to expect it.

As well as this, they hid a sneaky release of the cast list in the tweet.

Amongst the announced cast were: "Awkwafina, Peter Capaldi, Emma Corrin, Patsy Ferran,Paul Giamatti, and Rashida Jones.

In addition, they confirmed that Black Mirror will be running its first true sequel episode to USS Callister, with multiple cast members returning, including Milanka Brooks, Billy Magnussen, Paul G Raymond, Christian Millioti, Osy Ikhile, and Jimmi Simpson.
