Gordon Ramsay And His Wife Are Expecting Their Fifth Child
Gordon Ramsay has announced that he and his wife are expecting their fifth child together.
In a post on his Instagram account, the potty-mouthed TV chef confirmed the exciting news to his five and a half million followers, on New Year's Day.
The 44-year-old already has four children - Megan, 21, Matilda, 17, and twins Jack and Holly, 19 - who are all present in the video clip to wish their dad's followers well for the coming year.
As the camera pans along it eventually reaches his wife, Tana, who says 'Happy New Year' before lifting her top to reveal a large bump, confirming that they are expecting a new addition to the family.
The short clip was posted with the caption: 'Exciting news! Happy new year from all the Ramsays.'
In the video, the Kitchen Nightmares host can be heard saying: "And guess what...Happy New Year because we've got another one coming. Oh my lord, oh no!"
Since the post was shared, the blunt chef's army of fans have been sending their messages of congratulations online.
One person wrote: "What a beautiful family. Happy New Year!!"
Another added: "Soooo Happy for your Nu bundle of joy set to arrive and bless your beautiful family!"
Just a day before they announced the news of their next child, the Ramsays celebrated Jack and Holly's 19th birthday.
The doting dad wrote on Twitter: "Happy Birthday Jack & Holly 19yrs ago today you both popped out early and screwed up our party !!!! Tonight enjoy your birthday.... love dad."
And the fantastic news comes two years after Gordon and Tana were given the devastating news that they had suffered a miscarriage and lost their child.
At the time the celebrity entrepreneur thanked his fans and the medical staff at Portland Hospital for their support.
He wrote on Facebook: "Hi guys, Tana and I want to thank you so much for your support over the past couple of weeks. We had a devastating weekend as Tana has sadly miscarried our son at five months.
"We're together healing as a family, but we want to thank everyone again for all your amazing support and well wishes. I'd especially like to send a big thank you to the amazing team at Portland Hospital for everything they've done."
At the time he told the Daily Mail: "It has brought us all so much closer. You realise how lucky you are and you reflect on what you have, how fortunate you are with your remaining children and you remind yourself of what you've got. It's made the family unit even tighter."
Congratulations to Gordon and Tana!
