Parklife Festival goers were convinced Ed Sheeran turned up to play an unannounced gig.
The surprise appearance definitely turned a few heads yesterday (10 June) at Manchester's Heaton Park for the famed music festival.
Footage has since made its rounds on social media showing what some believed to be the 'Thinking Out Loud' star traipsing through the festival field armed with a guitar as the crowd screamed out his name.

The overlay text read: "What's Ed Sheeran doing at Parklife?" alongside two cry-laughing emojis.
In the short clip, a ginger man with somewhat of a resemblance to Sheeran can be seen walking through a set of high-standing doors accompanied by two men dressed in yellow hi-visibility jackets - complete with sunglasses and a bucket hat.
They can be seen ushering the man - who was carrying a guitar on his back - through the crowd as confused passers-by stopped for a double-take at the whole ordeal.
A man off-camera can be heard repeatedly shouting: "Ed! Ed! Ed!"

While the situation may have baffled some of the Parklife Festival goers yesterday, it's clear that people watching the whole ordeal on social media were far from convinced.
One Instagram user posted: "Security from Sports Direct and Ed Sheehan from Wish… top work."
Another claimed: "It’s clearly the lad pretending to be him from TikTok lmao."
"That is not the real one," declared a third.
A fourth added: "Two randomers in hi-vis vests walking a ginger lad carrying a guitar."

"That is a lookalike," echoed a fifth.
One eagle-eyed viewer even pointed out the 'HOAX' shirt the Sheeran lookalike was wearing: "Literally says 'HOAX' on his shirt... good effort."
Others decided to have some fun with the fiasco with many taking to the comments to share their own creative spins on the 'Shape of You' hit-maker's actual name.
One Instagram user commented: "That’s Shed Eran."

A second offered: "Fred Sheeran."
"Ted Sheeran," wrote a third.
And, lastly, my personal favourite: "Ed Nowhere Nearen!"
In other news, a Sheeran lookalike 'Ned Sheeran' has been banned from TikTok for looking too much like the singer.

Ty Jones has been blessed with an appearance that makes him look uncannily like Sheeran, to the point that he's been able to forge a career and relationship thanks to his lookalike status.
TikTok does not allow accounts to impersonate other people, though Ty has always been clear that he's not actually Ed Sheeran and his account does not name him as Ed Sheeran.
According to The Sun, Ty got banned from TikTok and when he tried to appeal was told his account 'violated our Community Guidelines and cannot be restored' but it was later reinstated.
"It’s quite obvious I’m a lookalike. I actually can’t sing. People always comment on my videos, saying, 'Oh my God, it’s Ed Sheeran'," he told The Sun.
"I’m always repeating myself saying, ‘I’m not Ed’. Sometimes I have it in bold writing. I feel like it’s discrimination because I can’t change the way I look. Just because I look like Ed Sheeran, does that mean I can’t make TikToks?
"I make videos of me living my life as an Ed lookalike. It’s my full-time job. I was keen to promote what I do and market my business."
