Paul McCartney Plays Johnny Depp Video During Glastonbury Performance

Some fans think this was his way of showing support to Depp

Paul McCartney took to the main stage at Glastonbury tonight (25 June) where he played a music video featuring Johnny Depp. You can watch a clip of the song below:

The 2012 track is titled 'My Valentine', which the former Beatles legend dedicated to his wife Nancy who was watching from the audience.

As he launched into the rendition, clips from the music video played out on the big screen, featuring both Nathalie Portman and the Pirates of the Caribbean star performing the lyrics in sign language.

Although Sir Paul didn't make any comment on the actor's recent legal battle against Amber Heard, some fans thought this was a sign of his support for the star.

"I love Paul McCartney. The Beatles were always playing in my house growing up, but I can't get it out of my mind that he's a Depp supporter," wrote one.

Another said, "Paul McCartney Live at Glastonbury! Johnny Depp on the screen. #Macca #Glastonbury #JohnnyDeppWon."
