Pet Shop Boys, formed of vocalist Neil Tennant and keyboardist Chris Lowe, have become a British music sensation.

Formed in 1981 in London, the duo have gone on to win three Brit Awards and have received six Grammy nominations.

They even achieved four number-one singles in the UK, including the iconic tracks “Always on My Mind” (1987) and “West End Girls” (1984).

The band’s fame has even pervaded the twenty-first century, as they won a Brit Award in 2009 for their Outstanding Contribution to Music, which recognised them as one of the most influential musical talents in the UK.

On Glastonbury Festival’s 50th anniversary, Pet Shop Boys will be making their third return to the festival, having previously performed there in 2000 and 2010, but this time as headliners. But, when exactly can fans expect to see the band perform?

When Will Pet Shop Boys Perform at Glastonbury? How To Watch Them

Pet Shop Boys will be performing at Glastonbury Festival on Sunday between 21:40 and 23:15.

They will be headlining The Other Stage, which has previously hosted some of music’s biggest names, including Oasis, Bristol-based hip-hop band Massive Attack and The Chemical Brothers.

However, if you didn’t manage to get tickets to Glastonbury this year, you’re in luck!

You can tune into BBC Four at 22:00 to catch Pet Shop Boys’ headline performance. You can also watch all performances happening across the weekend on BBC iPlayer if Glastonbury’s TV schedule clashes with yours.

Although Pet Shop Boys are headlining, The Other Stage will also be welcoming a host of popular names in music, spanning genres from electropop to indie/alternative. So, who else will be on the lineup for Sunday evening?

The Other Stage Lineup: Sunday

Pet Shop Boys: 21:40 - 23:15

Years & Years: 19:45 - 20:45

Kacey Musgraves: 18:00 - 19:00

Fontaines DC: 16:30 - 17:30

Declan Mckenna: 15:00 - 16:00

Lianne La Havas: 13:30 - 14:30

Sea Girls: 12:15 - 13:00

Kojey Radical: 11:00 - 11:45

While Pet Shop Boys are headlining The Other Stage, their performances inevitably overlaps with many of Glastonbury Festival’s star-studded headline acts. This leaves fans with a difficult choice to make; whose performance will they choose to watch over another’s?

Who Overlaps With Pet Shop Boys’ Performance?

Kendrick Lamar will be headlining Glastonbury Festival’s biggest and most popular stage, the Pyramid Stage, between 21:45 and 23:15, meaning fans will have to pick between seeing the American rapper or Pet Shop Boys.

The duos' performance also clashes with the other popular headliner of this year, Charli XCX, who will take to the John Peel Stage with her catchy pop hits between 21:30 and 22:45.

However, her set finishes 30 minutes early, meaning you might be able to catch Pet Shop Boys’ final few songs before the end of their set at 23:15!
