Rebel Wilson has responded to rumours that her allegations against Sacha Baron Cohen led to his divorce with Isla Fisher.
Last month, the couple announced they had split up in 2023 after 13 years of marriage in a bizarre Instagram post.
It came just weeks after Rebel Wilson accused Baron Cohen of being an 'a**hole' who mistreated her on the set of Brothers Grimsby.

Wilson made the accusation ahead of the release of her book Rebel Rising, in which she named a chapter ‘Sacha Baron Cohen and other A**holes’.
This chapter details the alleged mistreatment by Baron Cohen on the set of the 2016 film, something he vehemently denied, however the UK version of the book had Wilson's allegations blacked out.
Fisher and Baron Cohen posted their separation announcement via an Instagram Story, where they said: “After a long tennis match lasting over twenty years, we are finally putting our racquets down. In 2023 we jointly filed to end our marriage.
"We have always prioritized our privacy, and have been quietly working through this change.

"We forever share in our devotion and love for our children. We sincerely appreciate your respecting our family’s wish for privacy."
The timing of the announcement led to speculation it was because the accusations by Wilson.
One fan speculated on X (formerly known as Twitter), saying: “So Isla Fisher and Sacha Baron Cohen are getting a divorce. I don’t like Rebel Wilson or Sacha Baron Cohen but there must be truth in what she’s said and that’s why they’re divorcing and why the book’s been delayed.”

Wilson, however, has addressed the speculation.
In an interview on the Kyle and Jackie O Show this week, Wilson said: “I don't feel like I'm the reason [for their break up]. But it might have just been his general treatment to women.”
She went on to admit however that the timing ‘wasn’t great’.

Wilson also stated that she hadn’t spoken to Fisher since the divorce announcement, despite the pair previously being friends as they worked together on the 2012 film, Bachelorette.
Last month, sources told US Weekly the split has ‘nothing to do with Rebel’s claims’.
They said: “They have been living separate lives since last year but wanted to give this space and time for their children to be OK with this before the news came out and they got all this attention.”
LADbible Group has contacted representatives for Isla Fisher and Sacha Baron Cohen for comment.
