Isla Fisher speaks out on 'challenging' divorce from Sacha Baron Cohen as he is linked to 26-year-old influencer
The star said she's living a 'new version' of herself
Isla Fisher has spoken out about her ‘challenging’ divorce from Sacha Baron Cohen.
And while she’s been giving interviews as her latest film is released, her ex-husband has been linked to a 26-year-old influencer.
The couple did a bit of a bizarre reveal back in April 2024 to say they had jointly filed for a divorce the year prior, after being together for more than 20 years. And in June of this year, they confirmed their divorce had been finalised as they said they remained ‘friends’ and were ‘committed to co-parenting’ their three children.
During press for the new Now You See Me movie, Fisher has said that it’s a ‘different grief’ to have this separation but has made it clear that she’s trying to embrace it. And while she’s at that, Baron Cohen has reportedly been ‘playing the field’.

Speaking to New Beauty magazine, she said it’s been ‘a really challenging time’.
“I definitely feel like there’s something about the divorce club that anyone in it understands in a way other people don’t. It’s a different grief,” Fisher explained.
“I feel like creating a new identity after your divorce is so fun, though. You get to reflect on your values and goals, explore new interests, focus on what you want and rebuild your sense of self.”
And as part of that, she explained to ELLE Decoration that she had ‘a bit of a cry’ when the first of her furniture arrived in her new home.
“This was my first time as a single woman, being in a home of my own,” the actor explained.
While ‘challenging’, the 49-year-old went on to add that she’s ‘enjoying this new version’ of her life.
“I don’t need to party in my house anymore,” she added. “I love to get in the bath. I’ll light some candles, bring in my laptop and put on something on Netflix. That’s as exciting as it gets.”
Meanwhile, it’s been reported that her 54-year-old ex-husband has been spending time with younger women.
The Sun on Sunday reported that Baron Cohen had exchanged numbers with American influencer Kelsey Calemine, 26, at a nightclub in Hollywood.
She was apparently seen ‘chatting and laughing’ with him for a short while outside the venue.
It was also alleged in September that the Ali G actor went out for dinner with model Hannah Palmer, 27, before leaving together in a limo.
