Rihanna accused of demon worship during her Super Bowl Halftime show

First Sam Smith was accused of worshipping Satan through his performance at the Grammy Awards. Now it is Rihanna's turn, apparently.

Rihanna has been accused of worshipping the devil, apparently making the startling confession during her Super Bowl Halftime show according to an irate few on social media.

The Barbadian star descended from the sky on Super Bowl Sunday in what was her first live gig in over five years.

The 34-year-old singer descended from the rafters, dressed in a striking red outfit and flanked by a group of dancers.

She then treated the thousands in the stadium and millions watching back at home to a medley of her hits, including 'We Found Love', 'Diamonds', 'Rude Boy', 'Umbrella', and 'Work', to name just a few.

But her incredible performance is apparently akin to devil worship, some on social media have now claimed.

New York Times best selling author Brigitte Gabriel tweeted: "Why do all the major live performances by woke artists have a demonic feeling?

"Sam Smith, now Rihanna, Hollyweird has gone insane."

Rather unsurprisingly, RiRi fans flooded the replies section with comments.

One social media user asked: "Does the colour red trigger MAGA? There was nothing Satanic about that performance. One of the more mild performances during a Super Bowl I have seen in a while. If this was woke, you need to go back to sleep."

A second added: "Yeah, this is weird. Satan hasn’t even gone on record about his favourite colour."

However, some users seemed to agree with Gabriel, with one commenting: "Agree, can't watch."

Another commented: "They secretly like the MAGA colour."

A third said: "Trying to top each other in the 'edgy' department. Kind of sad and pathetic."

Riiiight.

Rihanna is not setting a good example for the young girls of America.

Is it too much to ask for a halftime performance appropriate for children?

Well, if you ask Rihanna, representation was 'important'.

Prior to her performance the self-made billionaire said she was excited to bring her homeland of Barbados to the world.

"Representing immigrants, representing my country Barbados, representing for black women everywhere… I just think that’s really important, (it’s) key for people to see the possibilities, and I’m honoured to be doing this,” she said.

"It’s a long way from home. It’s a beautiful journey that I’m on, and I could have never guessed that I would have made it here.

"So it’s a celebration of that. I’m excited to do that and I’m really excited to have Barbados on the Super Bowl."

Accusations against Rihanna came one week after similar claims were levied against Sam Smith at the Grammys.

Some even Smith and Kim Petras of doing 'satanic rituals' while performing their song together.

LADbible has contacted Rihanna for comment.
