Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson has reunited with his The Mummy co-star and 2023 Oscar winner Brendan Fraser as the pair have a wonderful full circle moment.

Watch the heartwarming clip below as DJ says that he never forgets 'kind people':

The sweet moment saw the two actors reunite at this year's Academy Awards, which saw Fraser win Best Actor in a Leading Role for his widely acclaimed portrayal in The Whale.

The 54-year-old has been lauded for his stunning performance, in which he plays reclusive, overweight English teacher Charlie who attempts to reconnect with his seventeen-year-old daughter.

Beating the likes of Austin Butler, Colin Farrell, Paul Mescal and Bill Nighy - his old co-star from The Mummy Returns has praised Fraser for helping him break through Hollywood.

Johnson famously portrayed Mathayus, more commonly known as 'The Scorpion King'.

While it's hard to remember a time when Johnson wasn't famous, we must not forget that The Rock was the first WWE superstar to truly break through into Hollywood - in a big way - and he has thanked Fraser for welcoming him 'with open arms' in his first movie role in the 2001 sequel The Mummy Returns.

Taking to Instagram, Johnson wrote: "Very cool full circle moment here with my long time buddy Brendan Fraser and his sons.

"My very first film of my Hollywood career was THE MUMMY RETURNS, which Brendan was the star.

"Lots of critics and cynics betting against me at that time, but Brendan welcomed me with open arms and was very supportive. I never forget kind people.

"Now years later, Brendan wins his Oscar for BEST ACTOR in The Whale and I went on to become famous for wearing a fanny pack.

"Congratulations, brother - enjoy your flowers."

The pair even shared a laugh.

The Rock has always been grateful for Fraser's role in his career and after The Whale got a six-minute standing ovation at the Venice Film Festival last year, the wrestler-turned-actor thanked his old 'bud Darren Aronofsky'.

Johnson tweeted: "Man this makes me so happy to see this beautiful ovation for Brendan.

"He supported me coming into his Mummy Returns franchise for my first ever role, which kicked off my Hollywood career.

"Rooting for all your success brother and congrats to my bud Darren Aronofsky. #TheWhale."
