What Is Roger Jenkins' Net Worth In 2022?

Roger Jenkins a British finacier has made a lot of money for himself, however his recent divorce has us wondering how much has he made?

Roger Jenkins, 66, is a British financier. His ex-wife is the new star of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Diana Jenkins. As has come to be expected from those who feature RHOBH, Diana Jenkins lives a lavish lifestyle.

Is it reported that much of Miss Jenkins’ extreme wealth came from her divorce settlement, in which Roger Jenkins coughed up $250 million (£199 million).

In his early life Mr Jenkins was a sprinter representing Scotland and Great Britain between 1973 and 1978, competing at the 1974 European Games and the 1978 Commonwealth Games. His brother, David, was an Olympic silver medalist at the 1972 Munich games, in the 4x400 meter relay.

Whilst his sprint career came to an end long ago, Roger Jenkins has gone on to earn money that would rival Usain Bolt’s fortunes.

Having seemingly funded the riches on display in Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, many are wondering how Jenkins made his money and what he is worth?

What is Roger Jenkins’ Net Worth?

Currently his net worth stands at $80 million ($64 million), according to Celebrity Net Worth.com

After graduating from Heriot-Watt University Jenkins joined Barclays as a graduate trainee in 1978. Jenkins rose fast, he was head of private placements between 1982 and 1984 before leaving to become Director and Co-Head of Financial Markets for Kleinwort Benso in 1987.

Jenkins returned to Barclays in 1994, it was at this point that he started to make the kind of sums that warrant a $250 million divorce settlement.

Between 2005 and 2009 Jenkins was reportedly earning £40 million per year, making him the highest paid banker in the City of London. In 2008 he became Barclays Executive Chairman of Investment Banking and Investment Management for the Middle East.

Jenkins left Barclays in 2008 and, according to the Financial Times, received a £50 million exit payout.

He has subsequently held roles at Elkstone Capital and BTG Pactual. In 2016 Jenkins invested in a fund to acquire a cannabis cultivation facility in Northern California, pushing net worth even higher.

These decades of success have earned Jenkins staggering amounts, however, three divorces including his $250 million split from Diana has taken a chunk out of his wealth.

It seems that money earned by Barclays bank in the early 2000s is now being spent on margaritas and mansions in Beverly Hills. Still, $80 million for Mr Jenkins is hardly something to complain about.
