As Rupert Grint appears alongside his co-stars in the Harry Potter special reunion episode, fans want to know what life has been like since the final movie and how his career has gone.

Rupert Grint starred as Harry Potter’s best friend Ron Weasley in all of the Harry Potter films and credits his part in the films for launching his acting career.

What is Rupert Grint’s net worth?

Rupert Grint is estimated to be worth $50 million (£37 million). The first Harry Potter movie was the highest-grossing film of 2001 and Rupert and his child co-stars were paid handsomely as the films went on.

In 2007, Rupert was one of the highest-grossing actors worldwide, all thanks to his role as Ron Weasley.

He reportedly earned $4 million (£3 million) for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2007) and by the time Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows came about, Rupert raked in $30 million (£22 million) for those films combined.

After adjusting for inflation, Rupert is said to have earned at least $70 million (£52 million) in base salary for the Harry Potter films alone.

In 2018, he told Radio Times, "I actually don't know how much I have…I couldn't even really guess." Not a bad position to be in!

Rupert naturally lives in a huge mansion in Hertfordshire which has 22 acres of land on it and both an indoor and outdoor pool. The actor also purchased a $4.4 million home nearby for his parents, Nigel and Joanne, that features a putting green and a lake.

Rupert reportedly owns several properties, which he has renovated and now rents out - savvy.

Is Rupert Grint married?

Rupert Grint has been in a relationship with actress Georgia Groome since 2011, but they aren’t married. In May 2020, they welcomed a daughter into the world.

That same year, Rupert joined Instagram and his first post was a photo of him holding his baby daughter, Wednesday Grint. The star racked up one million followers within four hours of joining the platform.
