Rupert Penry Jones is perhaps best known for his role as DI Joseph Chandler on Whitechapel, and for his time as Adam Carter in the spy drama Spooks.
Now, home audience viewers are preparing for his up-and-coming role in ITV’s Our House, where his character’s life becomes intertwined with an estranged married couple.

Who is Rupert Penry Jones’ wife?
In 2022, Rupert Penry Jones is married to Dervla Kirwan, an Irish actor known for her role in Doctor Who’s Christmas special episode The Next Doctor alongside David Tennant.

The pair met in 2001 during the production of JB Priestley’s play Dangerous Corner.
Penry Jones and Kirwan were engaged for three years and tied the knot in 2007, but the location of their wedding is not currently known to the public.
The couple now shares two children, 18-year-old Florence and 16-year-old Peter.
“Rupert totally gets it and we’re very supportive of each other, we always have been,” Kirwan previously said to RSVP magazine about her relationship with Penry Jones.
