Sadie Sink Says Brendan Fraser Is Her 'Favourite Human' After Shooting Upcoming Movie With Him

Sadie Sink Says Brendan Fraser Is Her 'Favourite Human' After Shooting Upcoming Movie With Him

She said she learnt a lot about her trade working alongside him

Brendan Fraser's loyal, global fanbase has recruited a new member - actor Sadie Sink.

The 20-year-old Stranger Things star worked alongside Fraser on upcoming drama The Whale, and as well as gaining invaluable professional experience, she also acquired a 'new favourite human' in her co-star.

Speaking to Vanity Fair, she said: "I don't think I'd ever done a project that had that much character work.

"[Director] Darren Aronofsky is obviously brilliant, and working with him was a really formative experience, and Brendan is so incredible in it, and also just probably my favourite human on the planet.

"It was so amazing having that experience with him. I learned a lot about myself as an actress, and tapped into a side of things that I hadn't really explored before."

So there you go, looks like she's fallen hook line and sinker for Fraser. She's not the only one, though.

We are currently in the midst of the so-called 'Brenaissance', with the 53-year-old set to star in Batgirl and Killers of the Flower Moon, as well as The Whale.

It comes after the George Of The Jungle star suffered a period of depression, and in 2018 he alleged he had been groped by Philip Berk, the former head of Golden Globes organiser the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA).

Berk denied the claim and an independent investigation concluded the encounter was 'inappropriate' but 'the exchange was not an intended sexual advance', according to the HFPA.

Now, to the delight of his adoring fans, he's back in the game - and warming people's hearts with his wholesome interactions with the public.

In April, a TikToker shared an interaction she had with the down-to-earth star.

The fan captioned her video: "I love this man my photo op with him and my signed Funko are [...] everyone always says to never meet your heroes, I met mine and we almost burst into tears talking to each other. Thank you for everything Brendan!"

The clip showed Fraser signing a Funko figure of himself, with the fan saying, 'Thanks for making my childhood so awesome,' and Fraser offering up a fist bump in return.

The wholesome interaction wasn't a one-off though, as The Mummy star has a reputation for being an all round top banana.

In another recent viral TikTok, the actor got emotional when a fan said everyone was 'rooting' for him.

Appearing at the FANEXPO Boston, he told the fan: "I guess I just wasn't aware that there's that much support.

"I appreciate it very, very much."
