According to reports, Sheryl is worth a cool $5 million and her Emmy win is only going to push her star power even higher.

She received a nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her role in Abbott Elementary, where she plays Barbara Howard.

She sang her acceptance speech after it was revealed she had won.

Despite working in Hollywood and TV for decades this is the first Emmy nod for the star.

She originally went to school to study medicine but soon switched to performing arts and became the youngest woman to graduate from Rutgers University at just 19-years-old.

She first started acting in the 70s, with her film debut coming in 1977 in A Piece Of The Action. Ralph went on to appear in Sister Act 2: Back In The Habit and To Sleep With Anger.

As well as film, Ralph found success on the small screen with roles in numerous soap operas and sitcoms.

She’s no stranger to hard work, as she had a hugely popular Broadway career too.

The highlight came with her most famous role playing Deena Jones in Dreamgirls.

She received a Tony nomination for Best Actress In A Musical, and she also went on to star in Wicked and Thoroughly Modern Millie.

Multi-talented, she also released an album in 1984 called In The Evening, and wrote an autobiography called Redefining Diva: Life Lessons From The Original Dreamgirl.

After her Emmy nomination, she said: “I’ve already won. I’m not saying that I’m the winner. I’m not saying that I’m taking the trophy,” Ralph said. “But with what I have received, that’s winning right there, and the kind of winning that I think really matters ’cause it’s never gonna leave me.”

 During her winning speech she said: “To anyone who has ever, ever had a dream and thought your [moment] couldn’t come true, I am here to tell you that this is what believing looks like — this is what striving looks like.

She continued: “Don’t you ever, ever give up on you... if you get a husband like mine in your corner, if you get children like mine in your corner, and if you’ve got friends like everybody who voted for me, cheered for me, loved me … thank you!”

Her career is about to go next level thanks to her win and the eyes on her following her incredible speech, so her bank balance will only get bigger.
