Stranger Things' Joseph Quinn Says He'll Be 'Furious' If He Isn't In Series Five

** SPOILER ALERT for Stranger Things season 4**
Stranger Things star Joseph Quinn has revealed he’d be ‘furious’ if he doesn’t return for the show’s final series, despite his character Eddie Munson’s fate.
The 29-year-old actor plays misunderstood Munson who is wrongly blamed for the murder of Chrissy Cunningham and subsequently all of Vecna's killings in fourth instalment.
The leader of the Hawkins Hellfire Club quickly became a fan favourite as he worked with Steve Harrington and Dustin Henderson to stop Vecna in the Upside Down.
But unlike his pals, Eddie didn’t make it out of the Upside Down alive after sacrificing himself to save Hawkins from the demobats and dying in Dustin’s arms in an incredibly emotional scene.
Despite his character’s demise, Quinn was asked before the latest instalment of the Netflix series whether Munson will return for the fifth and final season.
Speaking to The Guardian, he said: "I’ll be furious if they don’t bring me back [laughs]. I’d love to, if they’ll have me."
However, stranger things have happened in the show so perhaps the Duffer brothers could potentially bring him back through the art of flashback or perhaps in the show’s proposed spin-off.
In fact, Quinn has his own ideas and revealed he spoke to co-star Joe Keery, who plays Steve, about how they could bring Munson back to life.
He told Radio Times: "Me and Joe Keery were discussing ways in which I could kind of [come back]... maybe I’d be like a figment of Gaten’s [Matarazzo, who plays Dustin] imagination or something.
"Like if there could be some kind of room for something like that, something a bit supernatural."
Elsewhere, Metallica’s ‘Master Of Puppets’ is rising in the charts following the season four jaw-dropping finale of Stranger Things - thanks to Quinn's character.
Despite the song being released all the way back in 1986, it's slowly getting the Kate Bush treatment.
The song was played when Munson picked up his electric guitar and started shredding it on the top of his trailer park home.
It was all a cunning plan from the kids in Hawkins to distract some demobats away from Vecna's home so that Steve, Nancy and Robin could infiltrate his lair.
It's been dubbed one of the best scenes in the whole series as many were thrilled to see heavy metal get its 15-seconds of fame.
When the song was originally dropped nearly four decades ago, ‘Master of Puppets’ reached number 29 on the Billboard 200.
But now, it’s climbing Spotify’s Top 50 Global playlist, and has now reached #26.
Stranger Things Season 4 Vol 2 is available to stream on Netflix now.
