Stranger Things fans, the wait is almost over.

The blockbuster sci-fi series will finally come to a close tomorrow, as the Season 5, Volume 3 finale drops on Netflix in the UK at 1am on January 1, 2026.

It's set to be an epic finale too, with a run time of two hours and eight minutes.

The official synopsis for Stranger Things, Season 5 reads, "The fall of 1987. Hawkins is scarred by the opening of the Rifts, and our heroes are united by a single goal: find and kill Vecna (Jamie Campbell Bower). But he has vanished - his whereabouts and plans unknown. Complicating their mission, the government has placed the town under military quarantine and intensified its hunt for Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), forcing her back into hiding.

As fans will know, the Stranger Things finale will be streamed on Netflix in the UK at 1am on Thursday, January 1, 2026.

What time is the Stranger Things finale on Netflix in the UK?

It depends where you're based.

The season finale will drop on Netflix in the US at 5pm (PT) and 8pm (ET) on Wednesday, December 31. It will also be shown in select theatres across the US and Canada.

British fans, that translates to 1am on Thursday, January 1, 2026 in the UK. Based down under? Aussies can tune in at 9am (Perth) and 12pm (Sydney) on Thursday, January 1.

The finale has a run time of two hours and eight minutes. You must have a Netflix account to tune into the episode.
