Following the surprise wedding between Jon Batiste and Suleika Jaouad, fans of the singer are now wondering who he tied the knot with.
The television personality recently announced on CBS Sunday Morning that he married Jaouad months prior to the announcement, shocking viewers with the happy news.
Aside from stepping into the spotlight after recently revealing she married Jon Batiste, Suleika Jaouad is perhaps best known for her appearances on TED Talk as a speaker.
She is also an author of the New York Times bestselling memoir Between Two Kingdoms and a columnist for the New York Times’ Life, Interrupted.

However, Jaouad wrote on her website that she was “born in New York City to a Tunisian father and a Swiss mother”.
She studied the double bass at The Juilliard School for a pre-college program and went on to achieve her BA with “highest honours” from Princeton University, as well as an MFA in writing and literature at Bennington College.
